After the wedding the last couple of days we just spent enjoying the weather, the fresh breeze of the ocean and sipping on piña coladas. As much as I just wanted to get up and start doing the next best thing in Dominican, like ATVs and zip lining, I figured I would take this trip to just unwind from everything, glad I did. Everyone needs it once in awhile.
I guess you could say we were both unlucky and lucky on this trip. Yes, the last few days we were upgraded to a villa. Something happened with one of our rooms which weren’t so pleasant but nonetheless they were very cooperative and immediately tried to make everything better, and well I couldn’t complain about this one. I felt like I was at home of how big it was. We had our own private pool with tanning chair and enough space to sit around. There were two bedrooms, my sister and I’s room had two beds, a walk in closet and a pretty big washroom. My parents got the other room with a king size bed, a walk in closet as well and a bathroom that realistically could’ve been another room! Insane! – Truly a blessing. And lets not say about the huge living and dining room it also had.
All in all, an amazing vacation. I got to relax and spend time with the family, loved every moment of it.
