Growing up I always pictured the man I wanted to marry- someone who loves Christ before anything, someone who has the heart to help others before themselves, someone who aspires to build a home not just a house with me, someone who never gives up- ever. Today, it’s safe to say that I have found the person whom my soul loves. Friday August 26, 2016 is a day I will never forget- on this day he changed my life forever.
YES! We’re engaged. To be completely honest I didn’t really see this coming- I pretty much set myself up. My friend totally tricked me in convincing me to take “engagement photos” for her and her fiancé. I WAS EXCITED! – that was the funny part, I researched and prepped like crazy for this day, not knowing this was all for me! As I set up my camera to take some test shots to find the perfect spot, I didn’t realize I was setting up to capture one of the greatest moments of our lives. It was something magical; I couldn’t thank my friends enough for all that they did to help him make this day so special- I will forever be grateful. I couldn’t picture myself spending the rest of my life with anyone else but him. He completes me entirely! I cannot wait to see what more is in store for our lives together as we embark on this new journey.
